Monique tagged me!

Seven things about me that are new to you.
These probably aren't new to all of you! Sorry!

1. I started college back in 2003 and still don't offically have a degree.
2. I've never traveled outside the US.
3. I could draw you a floor plan of the house I lived in when I was 3.
4. The holiday season always makes me want to go to Disneyland.
5. When I was little I pushed my little brother over in the bath tub and split his head open.
6. The doctor who delivered my mom delivered me 23 years later!
7. I love donating blood.

I'm never tag people, but now that I've been tagged so many times I think I need to spread the love.

Seven people I tag: Janice, Andrea, Laurel, Amanda, Ashley, Julianna, and Bri!

31 Week Ultrasound

Last night Aaron and I went to our third ultrasound. We didn't get many good pictures because 1. it's harder to get a good shot as the baby gets bigger, and 2. she wouldn't stay still for more than half a second! We did get a confirmation that it's a girl though! We got a 99% girl last time, but you never know! She was not shy at all so we are now 100% sure we're getting a girl! And she's already in the position we need her in to deliver! Head down! Woo! Now if she will only stay like that for the next several weeks, we'll be set! lol.

We got a very cute little 3D shot of her face too! Doesn't it look like she's smiling?! And look at those big cheeks! Just like her parents =) She's so beautiful already! It was so fun to see how much she's changed since our last ultrasound just 12 weeks ago. Oh, and that piece of something up in front of her face by her lips and nose is just part of the umbilical cord!

And news on the due date front... My ultrasound doctor thinks that she will be here plenty early! At 31 weeks she should be around 3 and a half pounds, but our little one is measuring 4 and a half pounds already! She's two weeks ahead! The doctor had me schedule another ultrasound for the 30th of December, but he thinks that we might already have her in our arms by then. He told me repeatedly to make sure that I call their office if I have her before the 30th so they can cancel my appointment! So if she grows about half a pound a week (which is normal), we're looking at a 7 pound baby by Christmas and an almost 9 pound baby by the due date! Yikes! We'll just have to wait and see!

Another fun surprise at the appointment... little girl is growing lots of hair! She has almost a full centimeter on the top of her head already! And here's proof... See the measurement at the bottom left of the picture? .0862 cm!

And here's the 7 month bump! I already feel like I'm going to pop, so I'm really hoping that the doctor's prediction is right and she shows up a few weeks early!

And one last shot... me and Bunny watching Robin Hood together =) This was on the second of two sick days I've taken during my whole pregnancy. Considering I had awful morning sickness for 7 straight weeks, 2 days off work isn't bad!

Birthday!

Well, I'm officially 23 as of yesterday! My birthday was absolutley splendid! Aaron woke me up a little early and brought me out to the living room where breakfast and presents were waiting for me! He sat me down on the couch and then went to the kitchen and came back with a plate that had blueberry muffins (which he got up early to make himself!) with candles on it and sang happy birthday to me! It doesn't get any better than that! I just love him! And his gifts were perfect! I have had the hardest time finding a diaper bag so I ended up just settling on one to register for, but in all of 15 minutes Aaron was able to find the PERFECT one for me at Babies'R'Us! It made my day! I can't wait to put baby girl's things in it! He also got me Across the Universe on DVD (definately not his favorite movie, but I've been dying to get it!) and a Willow Tree figurine. It's so cute too! See...

Aww... Isn't it precious?! It has already found the perfect home on our bookshelf! I love it! So after breakfast and presents we hurried off to work. This is the first time I've ever worked on my birthday! I'm an official grown up I think! Since my birthday's on Veteran's Day, I have never had to go school or anything on my birthday. And once I started working, I always requested the day off, but had I done that this year I would have been sitting home alone, so work was the better option! I had a doctor's appointment for Bunny in the morning and it is so fun to see her little personality developing as she gets bigger. She had been so still all morning and all the way to the doctor's office, but as soon as the nurse put the little ultrasound thing down on my belly to hear her heartbeat, she started kicking it and trying to get away! The nurse was being very sweet but I could tell she was getting irritated because it took her so long to get an accurate reading! With as much as she kicks me I think she might be quite the little handful when she comes! Let's see... after work Aaron took me out to Famous Dave's for dinner! For anyone who hasn't been go and try their ribs! And if you don't like ribs (like me!) get their crispy chicken salad! It is seriously to die for! It's what I get every single time we go! All in all it was a pretty perfect day! Of course I missed my family and the little party we would have had if we were still in Clovis, but I have Aaron and he makes my little world perfect!
And I know I've been slacking big time in the picture department, but I PROMISE to have some new ones up in a week! We have an ultrasound on Tuesday so there will hopefully be lots of fun pictures =) Oh.. and two weeks from today, we'll be on our way to Clovis! Woo!!

Election Day.

Before I get into the election... I felt the baby get the hiccups for the very first time today! You know how your skin will randomly twitch sometimes (my eyelid does it a lot!)? That's what it felt like, but inside my tummy! It was so fun, but I felt bad for her too because it lasted a couple of minutes and hiccups are not the most fun thing to have. Okay then...

Voting in Nevada is a million times quicker than California! It was so nice! We didn't get to go until after we got off work at 4, so I was prepared for a long line. We show up and there are two people in line and we were in and out in under 10 minutes! Love it! And I want to give a big congrats to Obama and everyone who supported him. I think that he will make a fine President! I didn't vote for him, but I didn't like really McCain either, so I'm not disappointed with the outcome. One really nice thing with Obama winning is that I won't mind listening to the President speak now! He is such an eloquent speaker! It's quite refreshing =) And I love that he promised his little girls a new puppy to go with them to the White House. He seems like a very loving father and husband! I'm excited to see what he does over the next 4 years!

On a completely different note, after all the email collecting I did, I took my blog back off of the "private" mode. When I told Aaron what I had done he thought it was stupid of me because I like to look at random people's blogs to see pictures of weddings and babies and whatnot even if I don't know them and I wouldn't be able to do that if they all set their blogs to private. So back to public viewing I go!

Also, less than 1 week til my 23rd birthday! And less than 2 weeks til my next ultrasound! AND 3 weeks from today I will be on my way to Clovis for Thanksgiving! The next few months are going to be fantastic!!
