Laughter.

Loralye laughed for the first time this morning!! So far I am the only witness to this marvelous event, but I am hoping to have Daddy hear it tonight as well as get it on video. It was the sweetest noise I've ever heard second to her crying for the first time... It literally made my heart leap. I thought it was going to pop right out of my chest! Hopefully I can get it on video and share it with you all soon =D

Beautiful Weekend.

I don't have much time, but I wanted to post a couple new pictures from the weekend... The weather Sunday was beautiful so Loralye got some outside time in her new church dress from Grams. And she also got some inside picture time with the blanket Aunt Marnee and Auntie Sam made her and the elephant Uncle Shane and Aunt Nikki got her for Christmas when she was still swimmin in my belly =)

I also thought this comparison was fun.. The first picture is off my phone from this weekend. The second is from before she was two weeks old off my mom's phone. She's sitting in the same bouncer... Hasn't she changed?!

3 Months Old.

Our little Bunny girl turned 3 months old yesterday! There isn't a well check up at the 3 month mark, so I don't have her stats, but I can tell you that she is growing like a weed!! She is wearing size 2 diapers and mostly 6 month clothes! She holds her head up really well and is working on sitting up. She is very interested in everything we eat, so I think she is going to love trying rice cereal in another month or so. She has a very set schedule down and sleeps through the night almost every night. She LOVES looking at herself in the mirror and licking anything put near her mouth. She has a million noises she makes and loves playing with her tongue and watching other people play with their tongues too. She smiles at everyone when she's in a good mood and has learned how to play with the toys in her bouncer pretty well. Needless to say, our beautiful daughter is changing every day! Here are some pictures from the last couple days...

Three Months Old!!
Staring at the diaper stacker.
She does this every time she is changed now.
Smiling at her daddy.
Silly girl playing with her tongue.
Her "I'm not sure if I like this" face.
The "okay I really don't like this" face.
Mind you, this is not crying, this is complaining...
Which she is very good at when she's not getting her way.

Easter!

Loralye's first Easter was perfect! We went to church and when we got home the weather was nice enough to play outside!! Loralye had never been outside for more than walking back and forth to the car and she loved it! Then we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at home with just the three of us! The Easter bunny visited her too... Here she is with her loot! A stuffed bunny, Eric Carle carseat toys, and new binkies =)

Playing outside on the grass with daddy.

Pretty Easter baby.

Half a smile. The best I got on camera!

Playing on the changing table before bath time. She's getting so good at lifting her head!!

We love bath time now!!

Gotta love hooded towels =)

Hope you all enjoyed your Easter as much as we did!! Loves!

Growing.

Loralye will be 12 weeks old on Friday! I can hardly believe it! She's not new anymore! She's changed so much since she was brand new, that I catch myself saying "When Loralye was little..." or "When Loralye was a baby..." all the time! It feels like she's grown up so much! I love every new stage with her! Right now she's still sleeping most of the day but has dropped a feeding and is sleeping all the way through the night (in my arms of course! lol)! Last night I fed her around 10pm and she didn't get up to eat until my alarm when off at 6:30 =) I love it! Anyways, here are a couple new pictures from this week.

I love my baby girl!!

Mr. & Mrs. Shane Call

This past weekend Aaron, Loralye, and I flew out to Clovis for my older brother Shane's wedding. The wedding was perfect!! Nicole looked absolutely stunning and they both looked so happy! I am so lucky to have another sweet sister in law. I was one of the bridesmaids so I got next to no pictures from the wedding (plus, I had a baby that needed to be fed 3 times throughout the evening, so I missed a lot!), but I did steal a couple from Nicole's sister in law, Julie and my friend Hillary. Now I'm just waiting to get pictures from my dad (he's rounding up pictures that everyone other than the photographer took) and from the photographer! I'm sure they will all be beautiful! Here's one of the few pictures I took all weekend... Aaron, Loralye, and I getting ready to go back down to the reception after being put in warm jammies.

Here are a couple I stole from others... Aaron and baby girl during the ceremony.

Loralye and I with Shane's new little nieces.

The happy couple during their first dance as husband and wife =)
